Did you know that a lot of agencies will charge you for lens packages, dolly’s, rails, and other equipment they have already purchased?  And what’s worse, they continue to charge even after the initial investment has been paid off.  Think of it as an additional margin you are paying for.  Not at Balihoo, not ever.

It’s simple, we charge a day rate per labor person on each job and walk you through which labor people will be required and why.  If we can get it done with 3 people instead of 5 you bet we’ll do it with 3. We are not interested in inflated pricing models.

We utilize some of the best DP’s, Producers, Animators, VFX and Photographers in the industry; in fact, some of the same talent the ‘big house’ agencies use. Why pay more for the same thing? No seriously, why?

It’s not as simple as point click and shoot.  If so, everyone would do it and in fact a lot attempt but fall short.  Each project takes a significant amount of preparation: scripting, talent, location, time of day, mood, audio and the list goes on.
